LANGUAGE
Swearing in any language is allowed on this site with some restrictions. Cuss words can be used in character, but swearing at another player or staff member out of character such as in an out of character comment, in a private message, in an out of character discussion area or discord will never be allowed. It would be considered ''Flaming''.
Example:
"You are a fucking asshole" - not allowed.
"I am so fucking excited" - is allowed.
"You are a fucking asshole" - not allowed.
"I am so fucking excited" - is allowed.
Please try to find a way to articulate your disagreement with someone without cussing at them.
Further, due to the international nature of this community we will not allow the use of racist terminology to be used in character or out of character. [Wikipedia Resource of Racist Terms] -- for reference only. We also do not allow slurs regarding sexuality or religion in this community. For example, antisemitism or using "homo" or "gay" as a pejorative will not be tolerated.
SEX
We have a community of users that vary in age from minor to adults with children old enough to be considered adults. There are content concerns regarding sex. Our scale for sexual content is a 2. This means that when a romantic physical encounter starts to involve the genitalia, the scene becomes a Fades to Black (FTB). Fading to Black is essentially a Sexy discretion shot where it is generally understood what has transpired but for the sake of the audience's sensibilities, the details are not shared.
There are two exceptions to this: underaged characters (under 18 because the age of consent can be as high as 18 depending on the region) or out of character solicitation for sex. Please do not depict sexual activity between minors or between an adult character and a minor character, we are not that type of community. Also, please do not enter a user's DMs or PMs and ask for sex, offer something in exchange for sexual favors or pressure someone to have sex.
Consent of both parties is needed to proceed with a Fade to black. "Surprising" someone with a fade to black scene is not only awkward, inappropriate but it is also godmodding which we do not allow.
VIOLENCE
Fights and violence can be described with moderate detail, they can also have some blood but the descriptions cannot be gratuitous. There is a battle system that can be used in combat, therefore there is a risk for graphic violence. However, players reserve the right to the end autonomy of their character. This means, you are not able to kill another user without their consent. You can leave them for dead, but you cannot destroy them to their very last atom because it would be in character to do. Further, you cannot maim a character. You are free to try and leave a mark of some sort, but it is up to that player to claim that it could not be healed with the vast resources they have in character available to them.
